How do I edit an existing property address?

Only property name, property type, and property photos can be edited after it is created

Can I change the address of the property once it's created?

No. If you entered an incorrect address by mistake when creating a property, you must delete the property and create a new one with the correct address.

Edit property details

If the address is correct and you only want to update other property information, you can edit the property directly.

  1. Log in to your account and select the property you want to edit.
  2. Select Details in the lower-right corner.
  3. Select Edit.
  4. Update the property name, property type, or property photos as needed.
  5. Select Save when finished.

What if I entered the wrong address?

If the property address was entered incorrectly, you will need to delete the existing property and create a new one with the correct address.

If a device is linked to the property, unlink it first:

  1. Swipe left on the property and select Unlink, or select Details > Unlink.
  2. After unlinking the device, swipe right on the property and select Delete, or select Details > Delete Property.
  3. Add the property again using the correct address.

Tip: Editing property details does not allow you to change the property address. The address cannot be changed after the property has been created. To use a different address, delete the existing property and create a new one.
