Lubn AI Lockbox 3 can still operate in locations without network coverage. In offline mode, visitors can continue to use the QR code in their itinerary to release the keys; however, you will not receive real-time notifications from the lockbox.
If a visitor’s phone also does not have mobile signal, the Lubn mobile app will enter offline mode as well. If you know your lockbox is installed where mobile networks are not available, advise visitors to sign in to the Lubn mobile app or open their web itinerary page before traveling to the property and keep it available on their device.
By law (US), cellular towers should have a least 30 minutes of backup power in the event of a power outage. If the wide area power outage happens for long time, the device will be in the offline mode.
