What should I do if the lockbox is jammed?
Troubleshoot a series of tamper alerts
Before attempting to release the keys, ensure the lockbox battery level is at least 30%. If the battery falls below 30%, the key release function will be disabled.
This issue is likely seen with earlier models (Lubn Lockbox 2), especially when a visitor returns a damaged key storage.
Before attempting to release the keys, it is important to ensure that the lockbox has a battery power level of at least 30%. If the battery is super low (lower than 30%), the release key function will not be available.
The key storage can become jammed due to the following reasons:
- The key storage is damaged and deformed.
- The metal part in the key storage is bended.
- The key storage is overloaded or contains keys or fobs that are too large.
- The key storage is not properly closed.
- The key storage is forcefully inserted into the lockbox.

These factors may prevent the lockbox sensor from detecting the key storage. To clear a jammed key storage, press upward on the bottom of the key storage while running the standard check-in process in the Manager App, until the motor pushes the key storage out.
