What should I do if the shackle is stuck?

Before releasing the shackle, make sure the lockbox battery is at least 40% charged. If the lockbox battery is low, the shackle release feature may not work properly. For AI Lockbox 3, Simply plug in a fully charged power bank1 to the USB-C port and try again. For the previous models, charge the device for 10 minutes and try again. 

Over time, the shackle may fit very tightly against the latch inside the lockbox. If this happens, gently wiggle the shackle before trying to release it to help loosen the fit.

Once you scan the master QR code for the shackle and hear the voice guide, remember to press down on the shackle first and then pull it to release it. 

 

  1. To release the shackle using a power bank without waiting for the lockbox to charge when the battery is very low, the power bank must provide a minimum output of 60W. If the power bank provides a lower output, additional charging time may be required before the shackle can be released.
